50's Prime Time Cafe - Hollywood Studios Restaurant Review

This is my favourite restaurant in Disney World so decided to review it first. I visit it every time I am in the area. Reservations are a must and must be booked well in advance due to the restaurants popularity it is virtually impossible to turn up and eat on the same day without a reservation.

The atmosphere is very much like something out of a 50's movie. Very stereotypical of a family meal. I was served my by aunt (I didn't know I had a long lost Aunt!) Even though I had a reservation, I still had to wait about 1/2 hour to be seated. Pictured below is the waiting area.

When I was called to dinner, I was called by someone yelling into the waiting area 'Kirsty time to eat!' Which added to the atmosphere.

I decided to order the Pot Roast which I had had before and always enjoy.

It was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing!

For dessert I opted for Dad's Brownie Sundae. Another favourite of mine.

The thing I love most about this restaurant is that the servers will keep you in line. Make sure you eat your vegetables or you can guarantee they'll be fed to you in front of everyone by the server making train noises! Some more of my favourites were no elbows on the tables and no phones at the table!

Disney Life

Disney have finally moved into the streaming sector. I have been using this service for a little over a month now and I have to say I am really impressed! There are still a few bugs that need fixing, but overall it is a good competitor to the likes of Netflix and Now TV.
The thing that sets Disney Life apart from it's competitors is that in addition to fims and tv shows, it also allows you to stream music and read books. They also give you one Disney app for free every month, although I am yet to figure this out yet - for some reason my phone won't let me access the free app.

One downside to this is I have 2 android tablets and 1 android phone. It will only work on the phone as it is a later version of android. This is annoying as I would like to be able to watch it on a larger screen.

Disney Life is only available to customers in the UK, although UK customers can still use it abroad.
Another thing that sets Disney Life apart from it's competitors is the ability to download anything they stream. These will be saved to the device for 30 days and will be viewable offline. I have found this a bit hit and miss to be honest. When I try to access the books I downloaded the app crashes. I think this is probably just a bug that Disney still need to fix, but hopefully they do because it has the potential to be a good product.

They variety of films and shows is amazing, it has everything I could ever want to watch on it - you'll be spoilt for choice! I'm currently watching Cory in the House - I used to love that show!

Disney are offering a free 1 month trial to all new customers - you need to remember to cancel it if you don't intend of keeping it or you'll get charged automatically once the trial ends. I highly recommend this trial as it really is a brilliant product.

Welcome to my New Blog

Welcome! Firstly a little about me. I'm 28 and visit Disney Parks regularly without children. My aim for this blog is to review Disney products, parks, rides, restaurants, and just about anything Disney!

If there is anything you would like me to review please ask. I have been to Paris about 7 times, Orlando 4 times Disney Cruise Line once and I'm going to the California one for the first time in November. There is a good chance I would have experienced anything you ask me to review, and if I haven't I promise to put it on my todo list next time I visit :)
